Peter is a long standing member of the Bombay Lions Club. The Bombay Lions Club raises funds for youth in the community. It also supports local events such as the School Calf Club, which teaches school children about raising farm animals. A high point on the Bombay community calendar is the Bombay Fun Run, originated and run by the Lions Club.

Beaver Road Pet Motel has also proudly supported local schools through the donation of its services as prizes for fund raising events.
